Windows Display Options

You use the computer everyday like the normal person you are, check your emails, browse Facebook, or visit YouTube to see what new quirky video is available from one of your favorite channels. As your typing away or pressing certain keys on the keyboard, without you realizing it, your screen literally flips on you. You panic because you don’t know what the hell just happened and how to fix it.

In your mind you are left with only a few options, either physically turn your monitor screen around (which is way too much work), or keep you head turned in the direction of your screen. Now that can be very aggravating and even injure your neck. Their has to be an easy way to fix this problem right? Well you bet there is.

Problem

You hit a set of keys by accident which caused your desktop pc screen to rotate in any of the clockwise directions.

Solution

By pressing the following keys in combination Ctrl + Alt + Arrow Key (Up, Down, Left, Right), you will flip the screen back into it’s default position. Simple right?

Alt Solution

You can also right click on your desktop, click Screen Resolution. Where it says “Orientation” you can select Landscape which will put your screen back to default.

Screen flipping is a common problem that a lot of Windows 7 users face. Sometimes facing common problems like this is a good thing, you actually learn something at the end of the day. You can now fix your neck and toss away that neck brace, you now know how to re-rotate or position your screen back to normal.
