It’s finally here. Sony has released the trailer for their upcoming gaming console tentatively called the PlayStation 5 (PS5).

Experience lightning speeds like never before. The PlayStation 5 harnesses the power of a custom CPU, GPU, and Solid-State Drive (SSD) with integrated I/O. Sony has put together a comprehensive system that takes advantage of the latest technologies to provide you with an immersive gaming experience.

Sony has revealed there will be two versions of the PS5. Version 1 will be the traditional gaming system that allows you to insert Blu-Ray games and movies. Version 2 of the console will be strictly digital-only. Obviously the digital version will be cheaper, probably $50 to $100 dollars less than version 1 of the console.

In the video below taken from Sony’s gaming show conference, you will see the PlayStation 5 gaming console in action with tech demos and gameplay footage never before seen. Experience incredible breathtaking graphics and new features that the PS5 has to offer.

Next Generation Gaming

When it comes to next generation gaming, Sony continues to keep up with the demand for high quality content, excellent games, and a top notch user experience. The Sony PlayStation has been in the industry for over 15+ years since there first iteration with the PlayStation One. With a huge expansive library of games with each system that graces the market, a large and still continually growing fan base emerges each and every time to get the next big thing. PlayStation 4 undoubtedly is that next big thing and the sales numbers continues to prove it. For a simple price tag of $399 and with superior high-definition graphics, you may consider this your first choice compared to an overly priced new gaming computer which can range anywhere from $1500 – $5000.

As a great computer alternative for video games, PlayStation 4 is your best choice. This new beast redefines game play with powerful graphics and superior immersion. The PlayStation 4 now comes equipped with deeply integrated social capabilities which allow you to share your game play and experience with your friends across your favorite social networks like Facebook and Youtube, simply by pressing the new Share button. Now you can flex and have bragging rights all over the world, you can be the envy of your family and friends! That all sounds great but what are other improvements over the PlayStation 3 you may ask? Now you are able to download digital games in the background while playing it at the same time. No longer will you have to wait for the download bar to hit 100% in order to experience that high-def game.

Enhancing the Gaming Experience

Sharing your game-play on Youtube and Facebook is cool, but what’s even better than that is the ability to broadcast your game-play in real-time through uStreams video service. Have an audience watch you as you take on massive levels and defeat extremely tough bosses. How is all of this possible with a computer entertainment system that is merely at a price tag of $399 you may ask? Well let’s take a look under the hood. The PlayStation 4 boasts a powerful custom chip that utilizes eight x86-64 cores and pushes 1.84 TFLOPS of graphical processing power. One additional technological advancement that is currently exclusive to the market is the 8GB of GDDR5 unified system memory which helps games to deliver maximum speed and intense graphical content. This means all of your video games (just like PlayStation 3 but better) will look absolutely stunning!

Here’s where the PlayStation 4 shows off its prowess as a computer first, then entertainment system. The PS4 system has the ability to learn your behaviors and actions. As you continue to use your PS4 from time to time, you will see more personalization on the dashboard. Pre-loaded content will be ready to go at your fingertips as well as info on recommended content for movies, TV shows, and games. PS4 comes with an all new DualShock Controller (dubbed the DualShock 4) with much more innovated features that will enhance your gaming experience. The controller still maintains the six-axis sensor, rumble feedback and now has a touch pad, share button, and light up bar which allows you to interact with the PlayStation Eye Camera. Another amazing feature is the remote play which allows you to play your favorite PlayStation 4 games on your Vita (portable handheld system) anywhere and everywhere (locations with WiFi).

Overall

Not only is the PlayStation 4 an amazing gaming machine but also an entertainment device which can play your DVD and Blu-Ray movies. This is great for family and friends who want to come over and enjoy a 1080p High Definition movie like Captain America: Winter Soldier or Guardians of the Galaxy on that beautiful flat-screen television. With a current catalog of over 100+ games, the PlayStation 4 is gift to get for yourself, your children or a loved one. The world continues to revolve around computers, why not has some fun as well!

When it comes to video games, PC’s reign supreme because they can be upgraded and enhanced for better graphics and game-play. Gaming consoles on the other hand such as the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One are built to be just as is. What you purchase is what you get. The only thing you may upgrade in your gaming console is the hard-drive. What that does is just give you extra space to store data on. A well built computer can get you far and deliver stellar performance when playing your favorite games as well as running graphic intensive applications.

Gaming PC’s don’t get much of the spotlight when it comes to the video games because of a few factors. #1 they are just too expensive. The majority of gamers around the world are not looking to spend $1500+ on a system that plays video games. Back in the day when console gaming hit the market, people were comfortable with paying anywhere from $200-$400 and it is still like that today. #2 If buying a gaming PC was out of the question then having to build one was an option. Again, the majority of causal gamers are not technical when it comes to game consoles let along PC’s. If you ask the average consumer about graphic cards or GPU, or processing power, or RAM, they will have a look of confusion on their face.

But, if you a PC gamer and would love to build a system that rivals the PlayStation 4 or Xbox One, the following video will give you tips and ideas on how to make that possible. If money is not an option and if you enjoy putting together gaming rigs, than the video below is for you. Last but not least, make sure your computer setup looks flawless. You can’t enjoy your favorite games while being uncomfortable.
